Harry Potter on sale again in MPH!

Last Sat i was at the Summit USJ with Subang. Went into MPH because Maddy wanted to check if MPH is selling the last Harry Potter book despite me telling her that they are not selling any! Surprise surprise!!! MPH has indeed began selling it again!and guess what? Its selling at RM109.90 BUT.........with 20% discount somemore with any purchase at the bookstore! haha..actually its good news for the readers and i think its a good strategy deployed by the Company..SMART MOVE there..

i mean, come on! instead of not selling it at all and let the stock just lie there..shouldn't you think of some ideas of how to win over the hypermarkets?!such as buy book free HP keychain or things like that? all these strategy might boost the sales further~! instead of complaining n protest about it..i rather spend some time sit down n think of possible actions to be taken!

Anyway i think they kinda figure that out without my advice haha! See? That move makes Maddy such a happy girl! She finally gotten hold of the hardcover Adult version of the Harry Potter book ...!

Lawyers Get Together SLB

We had SLB lawyers-get-together at Bar Savanh last Friday.. was really fun...everyone enjoyed it i think...the food was good and i love the wine~

Recently many colleagues left us..i am wondering..what is wrong? Is it because of the profession itself or is it because of the firm? Is it happening at every firm? I am lost too, wondering if i am suited to become a lawyer.. Not meticulous enough to be one i supposed...Maybe its time to think of a backup plan...Malaysian lawyers are so underpaid and overworked....only those with determination will persevere until the end...Maybe i am not meant to be one of them..

What is success to me if i have lost my youth by working long hours? What is success to me if i can't spend quality time with my family? What is success to me if i don't have anyone to share with?

I think i have already made up my mind not to be one of them..

This place is so famous after the 8TV programme AH XIAN introduced it on TV...Actually the Bak Zhang is not expensive but the other snacks are a little bit pricey...i think its definitely worth a try! If you can afford it, they are selling Abalone sharkfin zhang too, haha..remember to ask me along yeah!

Emil Chow Concert 14-07-2007 周华建

As mentioned in previous post, i went to see Emil Chow Wai Kin's concert at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalik last Saturday. The concert was sooooooooo good!!!!!!!! It lasted for 4.5 hours and he sang so many songs..Most of the people were still around when we left at 12.30am! .really admire his stamina...also, he is very funny...telling jokes throughout the concert..Too bad i wasn't seated very close to the stage..

The King and I

went to watch The King and i yesterday at Istana Budaya because my aunt gave us two free tickets! Hooray thanks to my aunt!



I enjoyed watching this than My Fair Lady last time. Love the voice of the actress playing Ana don't really like the voice of the actor playing the King. Maybe because the Thai ascent is somewhat strong and sometimes i can't really catch what is he saying or singing. I would give it a B+ ! The King and I is now showing at Istana Budaya until 26th July 2007, you can go to www.axcess.com.my for more info and seating plan. Anyway i think yesterday some Ministers were there as well..but sorry ah can't recall their names :p

It is a pretty busy weekend for me....went to client's place justnow for almost the whole day...tiring man!

Tonight i am watching Emil Chow's concert at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, hope it will be good! need to relax a bit as i had a hectic week at work.. time to take shower ...take care guys!

Doreen's Wedding 30.05.07

Am back from Batu Pahat, as i mentioned in my last post, went back to attend Doreen's wedding. Doreen is actually my high school class mate..we used to be quite close to each other, she is my jogging buddy. However ever since Form 5 i haven't seen her at all. I know maybe you guys think its a bit weird to attend her wedding since i haven't seen her for so long. Actually who cares, i mean i am happy enough that she remember me and invited me through friendster. At least now i know that she is happily married to the love of her life, thats really enough for me. I also had chance to see some classmates that i haven't seen since Form 5. So all the rushing back to BP its worth it!
