Soi 23

If you ever been Luna Bar, you probably would know where is Soi 23. It's a Thai restaurant located at 22nd Floor of Menara Pan Global. Went there for dinner yesterday..

Appertiser: Mango Salad without a single bit of mango in it


Tom Yam Goong that is not spicy but quite a lot seafood in it ..


Kailan in salted fish and Green curry with chicken, opps forgot to take picture for the red curry with lamb that we ordered! The lamb was better than the chicken!


Dessert: Red ruby , so-so ..

The total bill came up to be around RM120 for the four of us. It's not that expensive considering its location and decorations. I actually like the ambience of the restaurant, its a good place for a quiet and romantic dinner! *blink blink*

However, the food wasn't that authentic ! I missed those Thai food i had in Bangkok last year when i went there, thinking of going next year again! Bangkok anyone?

Overall i would give it a 6/10.

Madelene's Birthday

It was my new colleague Madelene's birthday last Saturday..Actually we didn't do much, went shopping a while after the working lunch..

Baby Craze!

I am really into babies these days! Remember my last post when i attended colleague's wedding and saw baby M@x? He's such a cutie!

Random Post: What is Love?

Love is a complicated thing.
To me, love is a kind of feeling.
I can fall in love with you simply because of your smile or the way you look at me.
When i fall in love,i am glad that i may have found the one but i am also afraid.
I am afraid because i know that with love comes hurt, heartache and dissapointment.
When i fall in love, i think about you most of the time. I wonder what you are doing and i wonder if you feel the same way too.
I tell myself to stop but the more i tell myself the more i think about you.
Isn't Love an amazing feeling?
I pray that someday i will find such love, love that comes with growth, trust and life-long companionship..

Pangkor 11-11-06

My Pangkor trip was a short one, was only there for half a day because by the time we got there it was already 3pm.. We stayed at the Pangkor Island Beach Resort Hotel, it was alright considering the fact that we were only staying for one night.. There were a group of Japanese tourists there as well..Actually we were all so tired on Saturday because on Fri night we went to karaoke til ard 12something and we started our journey at 7something in the morning~! *faint* Took us around 4 hours to reach the Jetty as we aren't familar with the roads.

Swimming pool..turned out only me n my eldest sis brought swimsuit..so we didn't swim at all!How disappointing!

We were at the beach for a while and soon it was dinner time! We then asked the staff to help us call a taxi to the town centre for dinner. Actually there's nothing much at the town as well, except there are lots of shops selling souvenir and dried seafood, fish products.

Look what i've found!These lil cakes reminds me of my childhood in Batu Pahat..we used to be given these by our relatives when their baby is one month old..they always taste so GOOD..and this one taste GOOD too,trust me!

Check out name of this restaurant "RESTORAN ADA OOMP!" was it trying to say ONG in hokkien ? but it doesn't match with the chinese name, which means tasty seafood haha

We left early morning the next day as we planned to go to Ipoh. Haven't been to Ipoh!

Ended our trip at around 2something in the afternoon...time to rush back in order to finish off my agreements! My bro is going back tomorrow...sob sob...sigh...ever since he came back, our home is full of laughters and it feels great that everyone in the family can have dinner together and spend time together! Nevermind..soon will be the time we meet again. In the meanwhile, take care of yourself my dearest bro!
