Heaven and Feel in Bali- Day 3 Part 2

Im back to writing about my Bali trip in August 2007 since the last post, all because my sister is going to Bali in August. She was checking my post on my Bali trip and she found out that I did not finish writing it :p. So there you go..

Day 3 Part 2, I am still in Ubud.

Lake Batur

According to our tourguide, all the tourists that go to Kintamani has to dine in one of the restaurants. There have been an agreement between the locals with these tourguides. How true is that? I have no idea but I was hungry so I didn't really insist on not having lunch at one of those buffet restaurant. Besides, I think its nice to have your lunch facing the spectacular view!

If you choose to dine outdoor, remember to wear jacket because it will be v windy. SeE? My hair was so messy!

Next stop: Tegalalang -staircase paddyfield

Please allocate sufficient time for Tegalalang because there are so many stuffs you can buy there! It is basically whole village of wood carve display, accessories, mini drawboards etc. I would love to spend more time there but I didn't..its a little regret for my trip.

After Tegalalang, we went back to Ubud town itself, waiting to go to the infamous Naughty Nuris for dinner!

Highly Recommended Place to go!

the grill pork rib is so good!and pls order their Martini's. It can get very crowded during dinner time so please try to go early!However, it is a bit far from the town so you have to take a cab to go there.

Heaven n Feel Bali - Day 2 Part 3

back to my bali post, sorry for the gap haha..

so where were we? oh! let me show you my accomodation in Ubud first, introducing Greenfield hotel.. it's quite popular among Malaysians because the price is quite reasonable and it provides free shuttle to the town..





We are staying in the room upstairs with the padi view.

after checking in, we decided to go check out the padi field.

the bathroom, the only thing i have comments on, its not dirty but it is quite old already as you can see..


after taking a short nap, its time for dinner! we have chosen Bebek Dengil , the famous dirty duck restaurant for our first dinner in Ubud. This is again very popular with the tourists.

We ordered the crispy duck set, it was actually alright only but the atmosphere at the restaurant is superb!!! After dinner, we felt really exhausted having to tour the whole day from Kuta to Ubud therefore we went back to hotel immediately after that.

Heaven N Feel in BaLi- Day 2 Part 2

ok ok since it is a Saturday and i am home..its time to upload the photos again!

This place is close to Uluwatu, so if you are heading to Uluwatu, you might as well drop by here if you have some time. However, i wasn't impressed with this cultural park at all. Its nothing more than huge statutes and when i said statutues i meant there is only two.

Uluwatu
Uluwatu is a MUST GO ! The view at the cliff is breathtaking and fantastic! However, you need to beware of the Monkeys in Uluwatu, for they are so fierce that they will just snatch your stuff from you!

Before we went in, i specifically asked the tour guide what to bring and what not to bring. Tour guide informed me not to wear any sunglasses and to carry any food. So i asked him, how about mineral water? He actually told me its fine to carry the mineral water. I did...and Guess WHAT??? a stupid fat monkey jump onto me and snatched my mineral water! I was so shocked and scared that i screammm out so loud! I didn't know what the monkey wants, if i knew i swear that i will throw that bottle away!

After Uluwatu, we head straight to Sukawati market. The stuff there is really cheap! i didn't buy a lot though..save money for the upcoming expenses!

After Sukawati, we started our journey to Ubud, our final destination. Finally time to rest! Exhausted...

i need a lot of time to blog about UBUD, simply because it is such an awesome place!!!

Heaven n Feel in Bali- Day 2 P@rt 1

On Day 2, we have decided to ask the staff from Bali Sorgawi hotel to recommend some tour guide to us. Obviously they have recommended themselves!~ haha..we paid rupiah 300,000 for a day tour. Our schedule is from Kuta- Nusa Dua Beach- Garadu Wisnu Kencana Park- Uluwatu- Sukawati Market- Ubud. As we going to spend our second and third night in Ubud, we figured that this route fits our schedule well.
