US West Coast Trip 2010: Lombard Street, San Francisco

Lombard Street is the crookedest street ever in San Francisco. This street is a MUST visit for all tourists.

According to Wikipedia, it is famous for having a steep, one-block section that consists of tighthairpin turns.

These sea lions are so lazy! refused to move their ass and do some performance for us!

Pier 39 is a popular tourist spot as there are shops, restaurants, a video arcade, street performances, an interpretive center for the Marine Mammal Center, the Aquarium of the Bay, virtual 3D rides, and views of California sea lions hauled out on docks on Pier 39's marina.

Some other sights from Pier 39:

USA West Coast Trip June 2010 - Point Reyes, Inverness

We stayed overnight at Point Reyes, Inverness after visiting Tomales Bay. This was our accommodation, Motel Inverness.

front of the motel

This is the back of the Motel

This is the reason why we chose Motel Inverness!

Beautiful backdoor facing Tomales Bay! It was so foggy by the time we got to the motel

some pictures of the motel-gorgeous place!

there is a fireplace that works!

A pool table as well

We were upgraded to a room with balcony

so called view blocked by the pink flowers!

Hammock!

after settling down, we went ahead to Stellina, famous Italian in town. Actually Point Reyes town is a very small town, with only 2 rows of shops!

waiting for food to be served!

nice bread and butter

appetizer: Mussels!fresh and juicy

forgot what pasta is this already but I don't like it because its too thick, the clams were tasty though

Beef cheek, this dish is yum according to the beef taker! We went back to rest after dinner. When we woke up the next morning, we get to see this view!

clear blue sky

chairs provided by the motel for you to enjoy the fantastic view

We bid farewell to Motel Inverness after enjoying the view for a bit. We drove around Inverness after.

North beach Inverness

responsible wildlife viewing but we only saw these little ones!

we continued our journey after visiting North Beach, it was really foggy that day!

The fogs reduced significantly as we went down the hills. Stopped by the roadside to take pictures!

its time to leave Point Reyes :(

but our last stop would be to Bovine Bakery to grab some pastries!

everything is organic!

this is what I had, blueberry cream cheese muffin, YUM!

Next stop, we went to Napa Valley!
