My adventure from Phnom Pehn to Siem Reap!

We had to take a public express coach to Siem Reap because there were only two of us in the tour. It was a scary experience really!

inside the coach which looks like this- bear in mind that we have to sit for 6 hours to reach Siem Reap!

worst of all, the whole bus is full of Cambodian teenagers, who were very rude and inconsiderate! They were singing and talking loudly throughout the journey!

And the rest stop.......EEE.....
免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Actually the rest stop itself is bearable..but I dare not eat anything there because there were so many flies!

The worst part is THIS!
免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Gosh, and there were constantly flies on top of it! You can't even tell which is which, i SWeaR!

免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Er.. I was quite disgusted by this! I know nicolekiss and ky is quite a fan of all these, but Sorry mate! I am not going to risk my tummy!

And the worst part is that, upon arriving at the Siem Reap bus station, we were surrounded by so many Cambodians tuk tuk drivers ( at least 5 persons around me) pestering us to take their tuk tuk. No matter how many times you told them that you are waiting for your guide to arrive, they would still stand beside you and ask and ask!!! We were so irritated by them that we actually have to hide inside the guard house at the Bus Station. There were a policeman there and GUESS WHAT?!!!

The Policeman also ask us whether we need any transport!!! FAINT! I am thinking: Bloody Hell! The police there also want to make money is it! Come on, he already know that we are waiting for our guide and we even had to escape inside the guardhouse to avoid those drivers, why did he ask again, thinking that we will give him a different answer simply because he is a police? No way man!

That was the end of my adventure in Cambodia........I need to continue with Angkor Wat on the next post!!!

Adapting to the Island Style!

After being here for almost one month and due to the fact that I take public transport almost everyday, I have changed my dressing style already!

免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Island style= Slippers! Definitely useful when you go for shopping!Mom, sis and I all bought slippers after shopping for few hours in Orchard

免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Island Style No.2 = Simply casual wear! No more jeans for me nowadays, usually I will wear mini skirt or this!

免費無限存放圖片在slide.com!
Island Style No.3= Put up your hair! If not you will sweat like mad later!

So these are my recently adapted Singapura style. Of course you will see a lot of girls still weare until very nice while they go shopping but I am suspecting maybe because they drive there and they don't really have to walk outdoor too much. Too bad for me at the moment but I don't really mind because the public transport here is quite comfy as well.

Oh today I decided to spend a little bit more money for lunch. We went to Dallas at Boat Quay.
This is the restaurant I told you guys about previously which has the set lunch for $15!

Thats our happy lunch today. Actually working at Raffles Place is really nice, you get all sorts of food, hawker, cafe or even fine dining. Problem is if you go to hawker centre, you will have to wait a while for table.

The other day, I also went to Asian Kitchen.

There are still massive restoration projects going on at Angkor Thom involving other countries such as Japan, Germany, India, China and etc. Most of the pillar at Angkor Thom has collapsed so please try to go soon because then you would be able to see the original architecture.

Another good thing visiting Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat is that you can basically TOUCH whatever you SEE there! No restriction whatsoever. I remembered we can't even go near to Stonehenge in England!

In this picture you can see the difference in colours of the stones, the yellowish stones are those after restoration. Check out the engravings! The craftmanship is so impossible!
