Back from Cambodia!!!

I PRESENT TO YOU......My own shot of Angkor Wat reflection!

The reflection is so AMAZING!

To be honest, It's impossible to take an ugly photo of the reflection, everyone can do it but you have to be there to take it yourself and to see Angkor Wat itself.

As mentioned in my previous post, i was actually depressed after seeing the living condition in Cambodia but now I definitely feel that my trip to Cambodia is worth it all because of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat!

Please everyone go and visit before those engravings on the wall faded and the stones went missing or the old structure collapsed!

I AM SERIOUS~ If I have gone earlier, I could visit some of the places which we are not allowed to access now due to safety purposes.

More pictures in next post....

Busy packing for Singapore!!!

Greetings from Siem Reap, Cambodia!!!

Hie all, I am at Siem Reap now. Spent two days in Phomn Pehn.

The bus ride from Phomn Pehn to Siem Reap was VERY SCARY!!! We were put on the public coach. Can you imagine the whole bus is full of Cambodian and only two of us as the only foreigners? Those teenagers on the bus was real noisy and the six hours ride to me seems like 12 hours! And those rest stop...SIGH..Upon arrival at the Siem Reap bus station, we were surrounded by more than 6 tuk tuk drivers, lpestering us to take their tuk tuk while in fact we we are supposed to wait for our local tour guide!

Sigh, I am actually kind of depress now and I don't even know why?
Could it be the killing field yesterday or the bus ride today? Or I am just depress to see the living condition of the general public here in Cambodia! Well it could be the fact that I am losing touch with the outside world without internet access!

I wanna say I am really grateful that I am born in Malaysia, where the living standard is much higher! Now I appreciate my country much more!

Anyway, I am going to Angkor Wat tomorrow, which is the whole purpose of this entire trip!

Hopefully all is worth it!!!

The Importance of Sleeping!

Forwarded email from friends and I think I shall share with you guys!

Reasons for sleeping and waking up early

Evening at 9 - 11pm: is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.

Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

TAKE CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH , Friends!

New hairstyle, new life and where I went on Mother's Day!

Gosh, things that a girl will do to look pretty!

I was sitting at the hair saloon for a total of 5 hours to cut, perm, highlight and colour my hair.

It's tiring and it's quite difficult for someone as impatient like me to sit there for so long!

highlight..

this is the end result. Tell me if you like it?

It costs me RM368 for everything! It is quite cheap compared to a lot of the hair saloon in KL.

They are currently having this promotion for the month of May and June.

Mine is RM368 because I did perm, colour and I top up RM80 for highlight to show my curls.

Anyway I wanna stress that I am not paid to write this post to them. I just think that they really have the skill and the package is really worth it!!! Good things must be shared with others what, right!

Went to U Village @ Sungei Wang after getting my hair done. Same concept and type of food as KimGary. It was my first time there. Overall, if you happen to be in sungei wang, you can give it a try!

On Mother's Day, we went to the New Formosa restaurant at SS2, after reading review from Masak-Masak.

I wanna warn you guys that the service here is real slow. My sister was the first one who arrived at the restaurant at 6.15pm and we have to wait a long time before all our dishes are served! The waiter and waitresses there are not that friendly, they are just okay only. Funny is that they have two indians waiter serving the customers and one of them never even once smile. The place isn't exactly big as well. Go before 6.30pm on weekend to avoid the Q and start ordering food because you will have to wait!

Oh ya..and also, someone's bag was snatched just one minute after me and my sister left the place! My mom was waiting for my dad outside the restaurant but she didn't see how it happened, she just saw the girl lying on the floor after the incident. GOSH...

What is Malaysia turning into?!

Luckily I am leaving for Singapore :p

Got to pack now, tomorrow I am on a mission of househunting in Singapore.

Update only on weekend!

oh btw, NANG NANG if you like this post! :)

My 1.5 years journey with SLB

It's 1.45 am and I still can't quite believe that I am still sitting in front of my computer surfing, chatting and blogging!

Last Friday marked my official last day in Shook Lin & Bok ("
SLB") , one of Malaysia 's oldest and most prestigious firm. I joined the firm in November 2006 after chambering in other law firm. It can be say to be my first ever permanent job after chambering. I am grateful and indeed feel very fortunate that I chose SLB as the law firm to start out my legal career.

From here, I enhance my legal knowledge and most importantly, I learn the people skill. Overall, I think that I have improved my personality as whole as well.

This post is dedicated to my boss and all my colleagues in SLB. You guys have been great!

My Sabah Trip Part 2- Pulau Sapi

If you are in Kota Kinabalu, its a MUST to visit one of the five islands around KK.

I went to Sapi Island. Sapi Island is around 15-20 mins of speed boat ride from KK.

Pulau Sapi is one of the five islands (mainly Pulau Gaya, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sulug and Pulau Mamutik) which forms the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

a photo before the speed boat ride, which will remain unforgettable!

The speed boat ride to Sapi Island was really scary!!! I really thought I was going to die okay! As the driver of the speed boat has to avoid those big waves, it was literally a rollercoaster ride sitting in the speedboat and water kept splashing onto my face and even my body! I was wet even before reaching the Island!I kept asking Jerry when are we reaching the Island because it seems forever! As I was really scared to fall into the sea, I was screaming so much during the journey! GOSHHHH...

After rest for a while to recover from the shock, we went for water sports. We did parasailing! It was my first time as well!Oh ya, the speed boat ride was RM50 return and the Parasailing 15mins is RM180. It's all because Winnie knows the tour guide, if not it will be more expensive. There are also other activities you can try at Pulau Sapi, such as jet skiing, flying fish and even seawalking. We were told that Pulau Sapi is the only place where you can do seawalking! I wonder if it's true but we didn't try lah. We were told the price is RM150 if we want to do it. The tour guide actually charged others RM250!!! Can you imagine? :p I definitely want to try that next time when I go to KK again!

I totally enjoyed Parasailing!
