My Sabah Trip Part 2- Pulau Sapi

If you are in Kota Kinabalu, its a MUST to visit one of the five islands around KK.

I went to Sapi Island. Sapi Island is around 15-20 mins of speed boat ride from KK.

Pulau Sapi is one of the five islands (mainly Pulau Gaya, Pulau Manukan, Pulau Sulug and Pulau Mamutik) which forms the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park.

The speed boat ride to Sapi Island was really scary!!! I really thought I was going to die okay! As the driver of the speed boat has to avoid those big waves, it was literally a rollercoaster ride sitting in the speedboat and water kept splashing onto my face and even my body! I was wet even before reaching the Island!I kept asking Jerry when are we reaching the Island because it seems forever! As I was really scared to fall into the sea, I was screaming so much during the journey! GOSHHHH...


Finally we are here!

After rest for a while to recover from the shock, we went for water sports. We did parasailing! It was my first time as well!Oh ya, the speed boat ride was RM50 return and the Parasailing 15mins is RM180. It's all because Winnie knows the tour guide, if not it will be more expensive. There are also other activities you can try at Pulau Sapi, such as jet skiing, flying fish and even seawalking. We were told that Pulau Sapi is the only place where you can do seawalking! I wonder if it's true but we didn't try lah. We were told the price is RM150 if we want to do it. The tour guide actually charged others RM250!!! Can you imagine? :p I definitely want to try that next time when I go to KK again!

Winnie and William also went jet skiing!We didn't as I was feeling a bit seasick after coming down from the parasailing.

My Sabah Trip - The Only regret I have from my trip

I lurve Sabah!

Seafood is nice and cheap, people are nice, amazing Mount KK and there are so many islands around !!!

I didn't climb Mount KK lar....I did went to the Bottom of Mount KK, the Kinabalu Park.

Before going up, we went to eat Tuaran Mee. Tuaran Mee is a kind of fried noodles from Tuaran, a place around half an hour away from the KK Town.

Look, Ah Xian from 8TV was here too!

We ordered two types of Mee, the dry one and the wet one. Remember to tell those people you want to have fried mee and not Tuaran Mee if not they will all laugh at you and probably don't understand you!

Tastewise, I do think that it is a bit too bland for me. I have to eat with Chili! Having said that, the noodles are real tender and have egg aroma smell to it. Worth trying if you are in KK!

After brunch, we head to our destination.

After around 45mins, we arrived at the Kinabalu Park.Actually there is nothing much in this park except that If you are going to climb Mount KK, you have to come in here or if you want to be close to Mount KK without having to climb it, this is the place to be!

As for us, we were really looking forward to get close to Mount KK. WHO NOES!

It could have been Mount KK behind us...REAL CLOSE SOMEMORE

Sigh..what to do...we woke up late and went up late, this is what we get larrr. Therefore, to get real close to Mount KK without climbing it, please start your journey up the hill at least before 6am, if not this is what you get!

After leaving the park with disappointment, we explore the places around the park and we saw this!

Back from Sabah!!!

Dear all, I am back from my Sabah trip!

I realised how much I miss blogging~ Blogging is an addiction!

I had so much fun and ate so much in Sabah, and I have managed to put on 2kg of FATS !

GOSH.....anyway no regrets but I shall try to lose that 2kg this week!

Anyway...a little preview of my activities in Sabah for you guys!
