We saw this shop selling 鲁肉饭 so we proceeded to having our lunch before we start our shopping spree!!! hehe...Saw many of the branches already in Taipei, so we decided to give it a try!

This pork stick is heavenly..i realised that we are so deprived of pork in Malaysia!

After curing our stomach, its almost time! We go ahead with our crazy shopping trip at 1pm! WuFenPu is actually a wholesaler shopping districts, that is why the stuff here is really CHEAP! But please don't come on Monday because those shopkeepers will come on Monday to get their supply and the shops will not entertaint individual customers on Monday. The clothes there are mostly Korean/Japanese style, i wanted to buy some working clothes but did not manage to find it there.

After walking few hours, we decided to take a rest and have a drink ...its quite hard to find a cafe here..all shops are selling clothes or accessories..took us quite a while...

Taipei Trip 10 Sept 06 til 15 Sept 06: Day 2

The next day, we woke up feeling fresh and ready to explore the city. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very basic, therefore we chose to head out straight for local breakfast, which is the famous YongHe soyabean 永和豆浆。

Me and my sis at LRT station

The shop is quite close to the LRT station. After we arrived at Dingxi station 顶溪站,we proceeded to looking for the shop. After walking for merely 10mins, we managed to locate the shop. Maybe because its a Monday morning, there isn't many customers in the shop. We ordered a mixture of food there, but most importantly, one shouldn't miss its famous soya bean and yau char kuai.

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
The soya bean is very thick, those that full of yellow beans smell...i love it but my sister don't really fancy it :P
The yau char kuai is really thin n crispy, it is indeed a very nice combination to have for your breakfast. Miss that!!!

After a full and fulfilling breakfast, we proceed to Jiufen九份, a fairly famous tourist spot. It is a town on a mountain. It has very nice scenery.

Overall, i personally think its worth going to JiuFen, at least i enjoyed myself there. However the whole journey from Taipei to JiuFen takes about 1.5 hours by bus one way..

After JiuFen, we went to Shi Lin Market 士林夜市 although we weren't really hungry yet! :P Shi Lin Market is also another tourist spot, a MUST GO to taste all the famous local food!
