Taipei Trip 10 Sept 06 til 15 Sept 06: Day 2

The next day, we woke up feeling fresh and ready to explore the city. The breakfast provided by the hotel is very basic, therefore we chose to head out straight for local breakfast, which is the famous YongHe soyabean 永和豆浆。

Me and my sis at LRT station

The shop is quite close to the LRT station. After we arrived at Dingxi station 顶溪站,we proceeded to looking for the shop. After walking for merely 10mins, we managed to locate the shop. Maybe because its a Monday morning, there isn't many customers in the shop. We ordered a mixture of food there, but most importantly, one shouldn't miss its famous soya bean and yau char kuai.

The soya bean is very thick, those that full of yellow beans smell...i love it but my sister don't really fancy it :P
The yau char kuai is really thin n crispy, it is indeed a very nice combination to have for your breakfast. Miss that!!!

Overall, i personally think its worth going to JiuFen, at least i enjoyed myself there. However the whole journey from Taipei to JiuFen takes about 1.5 hours by bus one way..

After JiuFen, we went to Shi Lin Market 士林夜市 although we weren't really hungry yet! :P Shi Lin Market is also another tourist spot, a MUST GO to taste all the famous local food!
