Day 3 Part 2, I am still in Ubud.
Visited a local coffee plantation.
coffee tree! First time seeing it
local Bali fruit
traditional way of cooking coffee!
sample coffee and ginger tea
what a way to enjoy coffee
Actually I don't drink coffee, i am such a poser!
Kintamani Volcano
A tourist must go as well.
Beautiful scenery......
Lake Batur
According to our tourguide, all the tourists that go to Kintamani has to dine in one of the restaurants. There have been an agreement between the locals with these tourguides. How true is that? I have no idea but I was hungry so I didn't really insist on not having lunch at one of those buffet restaurant. Besides, I think its nice to have your lunch facing the spectacular view!
restaurant we had lunch. The food was not great but the view was worth it!
If you choose to dine outdoor, remember to wear jacket because it will be v windy. SeE? My hair was so messy!
another picture of me before leaving Kintamani
Next stop: Tegalalang -staircase paddyfield
nice cafe
Please allocate sufficient time for Tegalalang because there are so many stuffs you can buy there! It is basically whole village of wood carve display, accessories, mini drawboards etc. I would love to spend more time there but I didn't..its a little regret for my trip.
check out all these mini drawer..so cute..
After Tegalalang, we went back to Ubud town itself, waiting to go to the infamous Naughty Nuris for dinner!
Highly Recommended Place to go!
the grill pork rib is so good!and pls order their Martini's. It can get very crowded during dinner time so please try to go early! However, it is a bit far from the town so you have to take a cab to go there.
inside Nuris
Grill Pork Rib! SUPER GOOD!
We had so much fun in Naughty Nuris. We got to know two British friends, Cathy and Stuart!
Next up: Last day in UBUD...

Hey, that fruit is also available in Malaysia. I think they call it the snake skin fruit. I forgot what the local called it already.
Seems like our tour guide same something in common, bringing us to Tegal Lalang and Kitamani and even the same buffet restaurant there. Hahaha...
Hope you tried the Dirty Duck in Ubud. It's a must for those to stop by Ubud. Tell your sister to have it, satisfaction guarantee. Ask the local where is the Dirty Duck restaurant in Ubud and they will tell you (it's that famous). The best time to go is during Dusk (about 5pm) and try to get a sit outside under the hut.
Sorry, didn't notice u blogged about Dirty Duck already.
I've some photos and descriptions about the places I went in Bali in my flickr, if you sis is interested, here's the link
